This event is sponsored by the Myrtle Avenue BID and the NYC DOT as part of their Weekend Walks Initiative. DOT is thinking creatively about new ways to use the street, and the BID wants to bring attention and shoppers to Myrtle Avenue. This is NOT a street fair. Instead, the initiative aims to transform the existing environment into an active public space for people of all ages to enjoy! Also – this year marks the Myrtle Avenue Revitalization Project’s 10th Anniversary! We’ll be celebrating throughout September and October, and Move About Myrtle will help to kick off the festivities!
