Fraternity usher request for fashion show.
Hi Everyone,
Since graduation in 2010, I have been working very hard with my team to produce my premiere fashion collection. I am very proud to announce we will be showing our collection, "Opus II" on February 8th from 7-9pm as part of New York Fashion Week. An after party/reception in celebration of the collection will be held immediately after. Many of the elements of the show are almost together. But we are expecting several hundred people, so we were hoping to have ushers at the show to provide guidance to guests, and a sense of order.
During my sophomore year at Pratt, the actives were ushers to the Pratt Fashion Society show and it was a great success. I would like to extend the opportunity to the fraternity and its alumni for a repeat performance on a much larger scale. I think it would look very good for both the fraternity (credit will surely be given) and the show itself.
The optimum number of guys we are aiming for is 6: 2-3 outside directing traffic (both people and cars) in the parking lot, one inside by the entrance and 2 up in the show.
