Mourn With Us, One of Our Brothers has Passed Away

This is difficult to describe since I did not know him that well; but our brother Angel "Blinky" Martinez just passed away on Sunday, October 11th. Angel was battling cancer for several years and had only recently been reaching out to old brothers and friends. His time was unfortunately cut short and hopefully those who knew him best can elaborate in the comments. A while back we reported that one of our brothers, Damien "Foghorn" Gurganious was a contestant with his fiancee, Nicole Brewer on NBC's season 7 of the Biggest Loser. Together they left a whopping combined weight loss of 264lbs at the the Biggest Loser camp and on Sunday in Long Island City tied the knot as a much slimmer, happier couple. The happy couple was even covered in mainstream publications such as TMZ and The Daily News. This Tuesday marked the third week for this season of NBC's: The Biggest Loser. We just began tracking the progress of one of our own brothers featured on the show, Damien "Foghorn" Gurganious. Unfortunately this week he was the contestant eliminated from the Biggest Loser Ranch. Although he only lost 4 pounds this week he has lost a total of 30 pounds during his time on the ranch. Brother Damien "Foghorn" Gurganious who pledged under Theta Class and became a brother of Pi Sigma Chi is now on the NBC hit show the Biggest Loser.
